Helpline Organiser

Although not a crisis line, our helpline is available 24 hours a day and you would be part of the adult services team, co-ordinating, organising and supporting the work of our volunteer team. The helpline is a powerful service for clients needing someone to talk to. It requires the use of focused listening skills to build rapport with clients, to promote their wellbeing and explore the impact of trauma from sexual violence in a safe environment. This role would suit anybody with experience in service delivery administration and as this is also an emotional support role, would be a great opportunity for those already or thinking about carrying out a counselling qualification.
